Biggest win of the season so far for a team starved of Rugby for 3 weeks and raring to get some action in on Saturday,it was unfortunate for Chesham but a great afternoon for the Hogs. Ten tries with eight of them being converted by Mike Wilkins who was in cracking form with the boot and was also involved in some good support play.Young Josh Conley had a superb senior team debut scoring a hat trick from the wing even though at under 18 level he plays in the pack and yes in case you are wondering his Dad did get the Jug in ! Stef Brand created his usual mayhem in the opposition defence and also got a Hat trick but it was not only the youth getting on the score sheet as Barry James managed to get over the line twice and with Christie Gilmartin and Elliot Gibson also getting in on the act the tries came from all parts of the team with some superb handling in the build up to most of them. A mention must go to Man of the Match Paul Morris who organised from the back and came in to the line on attack several times with great effect I just wish we could get him out of the Saturday shopping more often . It was great to see Christie Gilmartin back but I'm not too sure the opposition will feel the same as some of his tackling was brutal and he was a constant thorn in the side for them all afternoon. The whole pack played well giving nothing away in the set piece but it was unfortunate that Gus King decided to lie down for a nap in the wrong place as the Ref decided he needed to rest and sin binned him just before half time !
